Meet Our Team
Daryle and his beautiful bride Christy were married in 1995. They have 5 adorable children – Drew, Lauren, Katelyn, Micah and Josiah. Daryle received his TH.D from Andersonville Theological Seminary, M.Div from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Bachelors Degree from Anderson University. The Hawthornes came to SGBC in July 2008.
Hobbies – Family time, sports, and all things Clemson

Lucas holds a Masters in Church Music from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, studied organ at Duquesne University, and pursued undergraduate studies at Penn View Bible Institute where he later served as Music Chairman for seven years. Lucas and Hannah have three beautiful children – Mariah Louise, Emily Rebekah, and Laura Ann. The Shrouts came to SGBC in September 2016.
Hobbies - Recording studios, beach trips with the girls, and more recently gardening

The Shrout Family
Edna and her family came to Shady Grove in October 1981 and she has served as the Ministry Assistant since July 2004.
Hobbies - Reading, shopping days with her daughter, and spending time with family and friends

Family Life Pastor
Cory and Emily were married in May of 2015. They have two children, Aliyah Shaye (1) and baby boy (yet to be born). Cory Graduated from Anderson University with a degree in Biblical Theology and is currently working towards his Masters of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The Rutledge's came to Shady Grove in December of 2017.
Hobbies - Woodworking, Guitar, sports, and being a dad
