L.I.F.E. – Loving Investment For Eternity – This is our visitation ministry. At different points during the year, we take 2-3 months at a time and go out on Monday nights to visit, share and encourage. We ask those participating to take one Monday a month and so they join either Team L, I, F, or E. This allows many to be involved without a major time commitment. We also have some on each team to stay at the church and write letters to prospects, the sick and shut ins.
YOUTH – Grades 6-12 meet every Wednesday from 6:30PM-8:00PM throughout the year. Brother Eddie and Leslie lead their worship service each week. God is doing amazing things in the lives of our youth. They receive solid Biblical teaching that applies directly to where they are and what they are dealing with on a daily basis.
God has given SGBC a heart for missions. For the past few years, we have taken annual trips to Ukraine, Guatemala and Kentucky to show and share the love of Christ. We believe in giving and going. If you have a desire to serve the Lord through missions, let us know.
This group is very active. They take trips throughout the year to various places. The Spring Jubilee and Fall Jubilee at Myrtle Beach, SC and Pigeon Forge, TN are big hits. Plus, there is plenty to do close by. So come and join the fun.
Age 3 through 5th grade meet each Wednesday from 6:30PM-8:00PM during the normal school year for Awanas. They have a blast learning more about the Lord. Through music, games and Bible study, these children are getting a solid foundation to walk with Christ in the present and future.
